The project commenced with the conceptualization of a promotional video aimed at amplifying interest in street sports and elevating the visibility of the “Adrenalin” sporting goods store. Drawing inspiration from similar projects, the decision was made to embrace the vibrant and popular stop-motion style.
The store’s diverse inventory, including clothes, skateboards, scooters, and accessories, inspired the inclusion of a dancer, a skater, and models showcasing the store’s clothing. Additionally, small subject stop-motion scenes were crafted with details from skateboards and accessories.
Emphasizing the visual component, extensive preparations included location scouting for suitable settings like a graffiti-covered wall, a skatepark, the store, a background with a car featuring the store logo, a wooden dark background, and a green screen for stop-motion sequences.
Filming spanned three days, given the logistical complexity of coordinating various locations in a single day. Post-production involved intricate editing, converting videos to stop-motion animation, removing the green screen, and creating background animations for scenes shot on the green screen. Abundant photographs were also captured, contributing to subject stop-motion animation.
